I wrote a CP437 to Unicode converter to help preserve some ASCII art in older formats so it can be viewed normally on modern systems. After conversion many GNU/Linux terminals can display the ASCII / ANSI art.

Experimental compression tool / script. This simple program is small & light-weight, but is very limited in that it only works on text compatible with 7 bit ASCII. However, it's just handy enough that I've found myself reusing it to crunch various repetitive text data.
